Hi, I’m Megan. I write, make music, and wrangle my 8-year-old in the beautiful city of Chicago.

I love board games, movies, and jam sessions with my kiddo and hubby, and I can often be found sipping a mug of milky coffee with a book in hand.

I write both fiction and nonfiction, and I play music as a solo act, and in the duo River Rising with my husband, Tim Hazen. I have a PhD in Social Psychology, a BA in English Literature, and I’m a self-taught singer-songwriter.
