Work with me

I offer individual Mentoring and Guided Personal Storytelling Programs

Individual Mentoring* — I provide single- or multi-session packages to guide you in discovering your own story. I specialize in working with those who are at a crossroads or ready for a change, and those undergoing a life transition. I especially love working with creatives, mothers, and mothers-who-create (MWCs).

$155 per session | $545 for four sessions

Guided Personal Storytelling Program — four sessions in which I guide you in articulating your personal hero’s journey, and assist you in charting a course for what comes next. I provide you with a suite of tools, resources, and journaling prompts to frame our work together.

$595 (includes 4 sessions, an interactive workbook, and Cerridwen swag)

Why Cerridwen?

Combining social science, depth psychology, and the art of storytelling, I created Cerridwen as a resource for the journey—yours and mine. All journeys require a step into the unknown, and it’s my hope that this can be a space for all to find allies, mentors, and community along the path.

Background & Experience

I hold a PhD in Social Psychology from Loyola University Chicago, and as a qualitative researcher, I’ve been helping people tell their stories for twenty five years. I’ve developed a passion for, and expertise in helping others create guiding narratives for making sense of their experiences.

I’ve studied spiritual philosophy and depth psychology under Caroline Myss, Jean Shinoda Bolen, Tirzah Firestone, Tanmeet Sethi, Robert Holden, and Andrew Harvey; and I have completed coursework and training with the Center for Courage and Renewal, the Shambhala Chicago Meditation Center, and the Coaches Training Institute. I’ve also been involved with my own healing work and psychotherapy for nearly 20 years.

I love working with creatives as they navigate the world as artists. As a musician and writer, I’ve completed coursework and workshops with the Old Town School of Folk Music, Chicago Dramatists, Golden May Editing, and Savannah Gilbo. I am a member of SCBWI and Adrienne Young’s Writing With the Soul community.

I also specialize in working with those on the mothering path. On my personal motherhood journey I am indebted to the work of Laura Markham, Shefali Tsabari, Tracy Cassels, Sarah Okwell-Smith, Sophie Brock, Carly Grubb, Pinky McKay, Meg Nagle, and Tracy Gillet.

*A note on what Mentoring isn’t

I have a deep respect for the work of skilled healers of all kinds: psychotherapists, counselors, certified life coaches, and trauma-based somatic healers, to name a few. While there are healing elements associated with mentoring, this work is not meant to delve into the deep issues explored by these types of healing modalities. Particularly, it is essential that trauma work be facilitated by a practitioner well-versed and experienced with such work. If you are in need of deeper healing work, please feel free to contact me for a referral.
